Part of the ignorance in the world is
people make decisions on matters they have not got a clue about.
I made a point of this to a woman that said she was agnostic.
She had never read a bible
Never studied the word yet she was smart enough to make a Judgment that was so important to her.
I asked her if she did this with any other part of her Life.
How could she explain trigonometry if she had not studied it.
If she did explain it , would that be a smart answer?
She said No, and you made a Very Good point.
She had never thought about it like that.
She told me she was going to get Her a bible.
I pray that she did.
Today so many Speak of Jesus and they do not Know him in any Fashion.
They have not a clue who God is.
They show this by Denying Jesus Name.
What a waste.
Amen

The work of a Christian
I posted this as a statement on another Blog
of a Brother in Christ.
There are so many today who over look what
the Apostles were conveying while speaking
of the Law and Works.
Christ Jesus fulfilled the old law and it pasted away.
We are under a new Covenant.
A New Israel of God, if you will.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
When the Apostles were speaking of Works they were speaking of Works of the law.
That work is dead.
We though being in the Love of Jesus our Father work to show ourselves approved.
We Work to Shine his Light to uplift and to Glorify him
This does not contradict but validates the Bible teaching regarding our walk with Christ.
Yes to walk can be considered a Work.
Matt 5
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 17 ¶Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
John 6
27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. 28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
John 8
38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
Acts 26
20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judæa, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
Gal 2
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in
Titus 2
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, them.
Titus 3
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
There are numerous verses through out the New Testament to ring this truth out loud and clear.
I limit myself to Just what I posted.
I end it with these Verses.
James 2
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Christians are not Just pretty little Christians!
We are Workers.
The Body.
The Vessels created for God to use to Spread his word to implant the seed to grow in the hearts of those called to Christ..
If we do not work we do not have any fruit and we will not be distinguished between Wheat and tares.
Matt 13
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Milk Verses Meat
There is a lot of milk being fed in the Churches today.
There has been a large falling away when it comes to the Meat of the Word.
Some has labeled meat as Legalistic Food and not deemed good for the Christians today.
Like the Liberal leftist communistic countries of the world
Who by the plan of limiting food to its people they starve them.
A starving people is a none thinking people.
It is a group that will follow the lead of those at the top.
This is indeed foretold in scripture.
Amos 8 verse
11 ¶Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: 12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.
Today we see it in our churches.
You see Acts 2.38 creates the Body of the church.
Holiness and Righteousness is the Heart and soul.
Holiness and Righteousness is from God.
With out Holiness and Righteousness the Body is dead.
We have to get away from the milk and get to the meat of the Word which is Jesus Christ.
We have to get to what will sustain the Life within us.
Jesus Christ.
Jesus is Righteousness.
Jesus is Holiness.
Some feel we Just need to teach General Standards.
There needs to be a Bigger leap from Milk to Meat
not from milk to baby Food.

A falling Away First.
Does this Pertain to today?
Isaiah 4.1
And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
Could it be the seven women is the seven Churches.
To one Husband, Christ Jesus.
Yet they say they want to eat their own bread.
Christ Broke the bread and said eat this is my flesh
John 6.51
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."
They want to wear their own apparel.
What about Christ washing and making them white as snow.
Giving them a knew apparel?
Revelation 7:9
[ The Great Multitude in White Robes ] After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
More on topic is this verse.
Isaiah 61:10
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
Today where is the church?
No eternal Life - No Bread.
No salvation - No garment of salvation.
They want to be called Christians Some even want to be called Jesus name.
Yet they still want to go their own way wear what they want.
Principals are their guides not Jesus The True groom.
Jesus is to be the Man Groom he will not allow the Bride to
control the relationship People.
It is time to wake up.
And reread the Word.

The falling Away First
It is so Simple yet so many are so blind. 2 Thessalonians 2 1. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2. That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6. And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9. Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12. That they all might be d**ned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 13. But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14. Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 16. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17. Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work. You have brothers falling away every day it seems some are tied up into personal vanity. Others become so self righteous that they turn on every one they know. Others just walk away from all truth that they have been shown. Others blow around like a kite with a tight string in a strong wind they shift from one direction to another in a blink of an Eye. Others just study so much they lose track of what Following Jesus is all about. They forget this is a love relationship between them and their father. The falling away is already here how for are we in it and how much further will we go. | |
